Carolyn, I love this essay so much. It's a great reminder that daydreaming can be used as a life-giving tool instead of being a form of escape. I can get lost in a dreamworld and that is not good, but if I do it more mindfully, as you have done, I think it will be greatly beneficial.

I really enjoyed reading your perspective on utilizing daydreaming as a temporary coping mechanism for stress and burnout.

And, I'm all about taking myself out on dates!
