Guru Nanda water flosser, author’s personal collection

Essential Oil Diffuser and Salt Lamp

Here at GuruNanda, we make products inspired by Ayurveda, the ancient Indian system of holistic healing. Above all, we desire to help you be the guru of your wellness. — Guru Nanda website

Water Flosser

My thirteen year old daughter excited to open this product. I learned she’d never tried the water pick we have.

She filled the bottom with water. Popped in a pick and turned on the pre-powered flosser, giggling while water sprayed everywhere.

I laughed. “I did that, too, the first time I used one. Close your lips around it to prevent that from happening.”

She said, “Oh that makes sense.” Her shirt was soaked and we giggled some more. She liked it. She rarely flosses and liked the feeling of this better, to which I said, “Great!”

Salt Lamp

This salt lamp is gorgeous with a beautiful light emanating from the bottom on the salt rocks, if you’d like, and a multi-color changing display on top of the water container. I added Guru Nanda’s Eucalyptus essential oil to mine and took a bath with it in the bathroom on a high pain day. It was lovely. Also nice for adding some moisture to the air during dryer times of year or when suffering from cold or sinus headache symptoms.

Crystal Deodorant

Crystal deodorant was the next product delivered to our door, on a Saturday morning. As my daughter and I watched House, we tried the two scents given to us. The containers are a beautiful cylinder shape, smooth to the touch, with soothing, pretty pink (Coconut + Vanilla) and purple (Lavender + Rosemary). I took pink and my daughter took purple to try out for a bit. I rolled the coconut vanilla on my stinky, hairy pits and sniffed a few minutes later to find a lovely light scent of coconut and vanilla. Clear roll, no mess. I love that these are made with magnesium as I have a disorder that requires I get way more calcium than the average Jo.

From Crystal’s website:

Unlike antiperspirants, CRYSTAL™ deodorants don’t block the pores — allowing the body to function naturally. Odor is controlled and eliminated by natural minerals and other botanically-derived ingredients like Lotus Blossom and Orange Peel Extract.

What a fun spinning tray. The ashtray with pipe cleaner worked pretty well on one of my dad’s old wooden pipes. I plan to give the dab sets to a local dispensary for one of their giveaways because I don’t dab.

The rolling tray trivet is beautifully designed and easily stashed behind a bookshelf or dresser when stood up, I have heard the dab pad works well as a mouse pad and it’s colorfully cute.
