Have you/she considered starting with volunteering in a soup kitchen or food bank?

…s to help the homeless. I think she has the will and the strength to do it too. And we'll help her. One thing she doesn't consider is danger in homeless camps...
I have a child who is much younger than you were in the story that wants to help the homeless.

Have you/she considered starting with volunteering in a soup kitchen or food bank? Those can be safer opportunities to start out with. You are certainly right to be careful.
