Hi AJ, I have an article about failing Italian my first semester in college and then going on to get As and Bs for my 4 required semesters. The way I did this? I hired a private tutor! Once I had done that, the combination of in-class learning with a native Italian and private tutoring with a native Italian I succeeded.

I've thought about trying apps to brush up on it now. The one thing that can lack with apps is human interaction. That part is important, too. I'll have to look into the video chats you mention!
