Hi Mabvuto, Thank you for reading. So, this is an interesting question and I'd like to know more. Does pregnancy also lead to urinary incontinence, even without vaginal delivery? I had such a traumatic C-section that I feel very pro-vaginal delivery. It is easier on the body and easier to recover from, in my experience. I think it'd be great to inform patients that this can be a symptom and to give them education on how to gain strength back after delivery--not 10 years later, as is my case. My doctor recommended a hysterectomy--not pelvic floor therapy--and, I think that's a pretty shitty thing to do. He had the attitude of, well, if you're done having babies, why do you want your uterus anyway? Sheesh!

What do you think about how women should be educated on this matter?
