I get this. I do understand minimum word counts. For example, finding out my memoir is below the ideal 70,000 words is great knowledge for me to have. I am going back and making my book better--turns out I've left out quite a bit. It's okay if it goes over that number.

As far as jobs, yeah--time is what should be charged. Sometimes it takes hours to write a tagline or short product description that satisfies a client.
