I hear you, Marie. Thank you for pointing this out. Some people with good intentions don’t realize the kind of callousness that can be perceived when treating deep psychological issues as easily treatable by the one and only you. As a person dealing with anxiety, depression, and OCD I’m grateful for doctors, therapists, pharmaceuticals, support systems, and mindfulness practice — they are all important for me in my healing.
