I love this so, so much, Elizabeth! And, it's a great counterpoint to my recent bad experience with an editor. A breath of fresh air. I enjoyed this poem as-is, by the way. Although, of course, as Chris has suggested, there's always room for improvement/change/growth. I think one of the trickiest parts of being a writer/poet is learning when to integrate feedback and when to pass on it. It's a lifelong learning experience.
