I think it's so interesting that we're about the same age and that although Ryan's story scared you, you were also empowered/brave enough to write to him. Just thinking about him made me feel my body with that fiery fear and I couldn't get to the part where maybe I'd reach out or think about how brave he was. All I could think about was how mean people must be, the pain, the backstory, and on and on.
