It's difficult and interesting trying to navigate the capitalist society we live in, especially as it is crumbling and going through some self-destruction. Throughout history, empires fall. It seems that's where we are headed.

As sensitive, empathic people, we have to try to figure out how to function within this system, be creative, use our time wisely, etc.

We also have to support ourselves. Therein lies this dilemma. We have to be part of the system to survive.

I can see why communes were a popular choice in the 60s and why some people want to live off-grid.

I don't know what the answer is. Every political system has issues.
