Kate, Thank you so much for sharing your experience with Age of Empathy! I'd never heard of FND before. It makes me wonder if I might have a bit of this--who knows? I've often wondered why I have tingling feet in hands for what seems like no apparent reason. But, my case is multi-dimensional when it comes to mental health--I have a lot of stuff going on.

I'm positive this will help someone out. It is so helpful to put a name to symptoms. I'm grateful you figured this out on your own, too. And, that you made it through the night without a panic attack.
