Kelly, thank you for sharing your insights with Age of Empathy. I'm not built for pressure cookers like that either. And, it's taken me years to learn to be truly kind to myself. Your descriptions of depression resonate with me as someone who has experienced many bouts of depression.

And, what a cruel thing that long-term teacher did to you--I'm sorry you were thrown into that situation.
