Sana, thank you for taking the time to read my article. I highlighted just about everything you wrote in response.

Sharing our international experiences helps speak truth to power, I believe.

I didn’t know about Hindus standing up for Muslims — thank you for sharing that.

And the line I quoted above is true. I think, I hope, there is a shift occurring now, where people with privilege are choosing to quit sympathizing and begin taking emboldened actions that are directed from the people in the discriminated-against groups.
