Sandy, First, I'm sorry for the loss of your mom.

On ghosting friends, I can relate to this as I'm sure many, many readers can--on both ends. It seems that this happens in life. We often drift in and out of each other's lives. I've had instances of ghosting friends myself. It's painful from both ends and there is hope for reconciliation/closure. I've had it happen in my own life.
