Tara, thank you for your article. I nodded in agreement all the way through and you introduced me to both new and old concepts.

I've also been feeling my home is less and less of a haven; as an introvert, it has been very hard to be months on end living with my family in fairly close quarters. It feels like it'll take months to rebuild my introversion energy reserves!

The concept of "both-and" is something newish to me and I hadn't heard it termed this way. Humans can hold opposing thoughts in our heads. Realizing that things aren't always either-or; sometimes they're both-and has been a true revelation for me.

And, pointing out that self-care options are limited is so important!

Buidling up a resilience bank is a great tip and more motivation for doing the small things that qualify as self-care.

Your last paragraph in which you explain even writing this article was no easy feat is also appreciated. It's so good knowing we're not alone in how we're feeling/functioning during this pandemic.
