Thank you for laying this out, Rachel! I'm so glad you've found success in your 30s. I'm finally confident enough to seek success in writing in my early 40s. At first I questioned if I'm too old. Then, I let it go. I'm glad I didn't let my middle age stop me from coming back to writing--a dream I deserted around the time I turned 30.
