This is an inspiring article, Colleen. I love how you think outside the box. I'd like to add a few opportunities I've found:

-Joined the local Facebook Buy Nothing Group--this a group where you can Give, Ask, and say Thanks. That's it. No bartering or trading or keeping score. I have given through it and received through it. A firepit and an outdoor side table were two of my favorite finds.

-bought courses on the dailyom website. Content remains forever and you choose on a sliding scale starting at $15.

-trading services for services. I haven't done this yet, but one of my energetic guides suggested a trade of a session with her--my gardening knowlege in a session for one of her energetic sessions.

-and, trading editorial work-I do this consistently on Medium with writing peers.
