Tulsa is a pretty cool city. I didn’t like it at all when we moved here in 2006 but it’s grown and grown on me.
A few things to do:
Bird watching (pelicans, bald eagles and more) along the Arkansas River.
Check out the phenomenal Gathering Place park. I doubt you’ve ever seen anything like it.
Art museums including AHHA, Philbrook, and Gilcrease.
Tulsa Ballet is big.
Performing Arts Center seems to get cool shows.
Tulsa Tough Bike Race (that’s this weekend!)
Tulsa Botanic Garden, Linnaeus Garden
More museums. Uhoh. Maybe I should just write an article? Lol.
Gotta go to the BDC for sure! Tulsa has an interesting music history/scene.
Oh, and TV/Film! Reservation Dogs is filmed here. Killers of the Flower Moon movie was filmed here. Ok, I’ll stop.:)
