Yes! It's so important to know *why* you are writing on Medium. Some people want the viral articles, and others, like you, would find annoying.

I was able to double-down and reach milestone goals on Medium when I defined why I am writing here.

It's a great place for writing community, mentorships, friendships, and great content when you learn how to sift through the not-so-great content.
